I did ask about this a while ago but I've got a few more details now.

I have a Yamaha F310 guitar which I'd like to sell. Having done a quick google search they sell new on average for £120 ish. Mine has some fine scratches and one fairly deep scratch on the frront. I have no idea how to tell if it would need new strings or not. I also have a stand for it.

Can anyone reccommend roughly how much I should try and sell it for?

I wouldn't worry about the strings too much - the new owner might want to put on their particular favourite gauge/brand.

Having it tuned up by someone would be good. If they break a string in the process just replace cheap as possible.

As to price, in decent nick, expect to get up to half its value new.

Thanks Zeuhl, I think I've got a tuner somewhere so could give it a little tweak myself.

I'll put it up for 60 as it includes the stand and I'd be happy if it went for anything around that.
Good luck

I've got a couple of vintage electric Yamahas

They make good quality instruments even at the lower end.
Straightforward sale - no strings attached.....

Lol Shoota.

Thanks Zheul, I would actually really like to keep it and eventually leant how to use it properly but I need to get some money together for moving so have to be ruthless.
