What song is this, please?

It is similar to, and came out about the same time as, Telstar.
Same even, 4/4 rhythm and tempo, and, like Telstar, mostly organ.
First three notes are a pickup bar, all quarter notes: G (below C) C D
Then the first full bar goes: (half note) F __; (quarter note) E; (eighth notes) D C
Next two bars: two merged whole notes D.
Et cetera. Any ideas out there?
I think the title of the song is a single word.
Thanks in advance for any info.

I have all the instrumental hits from the early 60s but can't fathom it out from your description. Try 'Orange Blossom Special' and 'Rocket Man' by The Spotnicks both out in summer '62 or 'Out Of This World' by Tony Hatch just got to no 50 in Oct 62. Other than that, I will go through my stuff and try to find an instrumental similar.
Thanks to all of you for your time and effort, but, sorry, it isn't any one of the six guesses by any of you.
A reminder to help you possibly help me better:
Think: steady, even 4/4 beat;
organ throughout;
electric guitar added in the middle 16;
probable single-word title; and
a drumbeat similar to that of the Bonanza theme.
Thanks in advance again.

Thanks, Matheous, for the extra effort in trying it on guitar. Yes, I can, and shall in the next few hours try to, add more notes. And yes, it is in the key of CMaj.
In the meantime, I have a correction to make:
There is NOT a guitar in the middle 16. Silly me, I was confusing my song with Telstar! The Bonanza Theme rhythm was a good clue, though.
Oh, well. Stay tuned for when I have about half an hour to come back to my computer. In the meantime, I need some shuteye.
Thanks again, Matheous.

SOLVED! (Almost by accident.)
Was searching the iTunes store earlier tonight to listen to songs I already have on old LPs, and stumbled on one of the electronic music albums I have packed away in storage. I thought the song might be on the same album as Popcorn. Well, I was only close.
The song I was seeking help in identifying is Visa to the Stars, on an LP entitled The In Sound from Way Out, by Perry and Kingsley. What a neat album!
Anyway, thanks to all who gave an effort.
