THe lyrics ran, "I never cheated I was good.... you know I loved you so good".
I can't remember the artist.
I think it came out the same time as "Be good to yourself" by Frankie Miller, another great record.
If any one remembers "Good" could you let me know the singer or band
Many thank

Be good to yourself was released in 1977, that year in May, Good morning judge by 10cc was in the charts.
So not Susan Cadogan then- that was 75 or 76
Can you give any more info, fancydan?
Looked in my book and couldn't find any song just with the title good.
Do you have any more info please, fancydan? For example was it male female? Was it reggae, soul, metal, punk, MOR, pop, etc?
Was it a Top 40 hit in the UK? I can't find any song in the British Book of Hit Singles with just the title "Good"...

Many thanks for trying.
I can't remember the name of the singer.
It was a man, I think his name followed by "Band".
Can you also give a clue as to what style of music it was?

The following group names which fit the spec. spring to mind:
Steve Miller Band
Steve Gibbons Band
Sensational Alex Harvey Band
Bruce Springsteen and E street band
Bob Seger and Silver Bullet Band?

I can't find anything close to those lyrics but there was a song called Good For Me by Bob Seger and Silver Bullet Band - however it was 1980 which seems too late
