personally i thought the lighting was spectacular the volunteers were brilliant and faultless glad they got a massive round of applause, but the acts involved were a let down and most of all the inane and pointless commentary by the BBC drove me nuts talking over some really good shots of the competitors and effects. the woman commentator was especially irritating, she said that the song that annie lenox sang was from the movie Dracula? it wasn't! and the sound system wasn't as good as it should have been, all in all i didn't think much of the closing ceremony,but that as i said it's my opinion

Hope nobody is expecting an opening ceremony for the Paralympics the like of which we saw for those last week...I'm betting there will be a lot of disappointed folk around......

Personally I enjoyed the lot...my one grump?.....Claire Balding talks too much...but is most likely to be made a Dame, if popular opinion is anything to go by..or so they say...mmm...

Can't say I was over impressed with the line up, the lighting was fantastic though.

I enjoyed the show more because I had a thread running throughout the whole closing ceremony which was fun
