G8 concert

Who is going to enter the text lottery for the G8 concert? How many times are you going to try? (baring in mind texts are �1.50 + usual text cost) Who  are you most interested in seeing?

I just wanna see The Cure, REM, U2 even though I seen them all before (The Cure 16 times). Would love to see Geldof live if he was to do some Boom Town Rats stuff as that was before my gigging days but certainly my school disco era.

I think I will enter �20 worth as that is a average cost of a gig.

If you get a ticket for �20 worth of trying, it's a good deal for all those bands (if you're a fan!) and you get an ex-beatle thrown in for good measure! I imagine loads of the tickets will end up on e-bay or somewhere similar before the gig itself though.

Ooooh once I see the bands I wanna see I will be out of there so hopefully the ones I like will all be on early. I was lucky enough to win REM/The Corrs tickets the same way at the Nelson Mandella gig in Trafalga Sq a few years, but I had to wait through lots of cr*p like Atomic Kitten/Mel B and Gawd knows who else.

There is no one else on the bill I am interested in, Pity Placebo are not playing the London gig.

Still at least I took part and the cash from the text will go to something good whether I win or not.

I will prob just turn up anyway and see what happens. People were giving wristbands away at Trafalga Sq
