You're not old, Nessie ! Mine was 'Where did our love go?' by the Supremes, with their unknown, and unnamed, lead singer, Diana Ross.

But I do remember Winifred Atwell, a large lady with a jangly 'pub' piano. And Russ Conway, who had part of one finger missing but still played the piano, with his own compositions such as 'Side saddle'. And Joe 'Mr Piano'...

Mine was the Kinks 'Dedicated Follower of Fashion'. I'm even older!
Can't remember. I got to keep all the singles from the jukebox so didn't really buy anything.
My first E.P. was The Beatles "Taste of Honey" Can't remember the price, I think it was something like 2/9d. I suppose that would be about 14p.
Conway Twitty, It's Only Make Believe......now, that ages me!
The Poor People of Paris by Winifred Atwell.
I remember you. Frank Ifield.
Donald Wheres Your Trousers :(
Power to the people, I can't believe I have admitted that in public.
Up on the roof - The Drifters (on EP)
It was an album: One Step Beyond by Madness (1979).
Wow I can remember buying from Woolworths, Poetry in Motion.
Mine was this.....12'' version, bought in Leather Lane London Town.....lol

Lisa x
Speedy Gonzales, Pat Boone.
Squeeze - Up the Junction
"They try to tell us we're too young"

Jimmy Young.

OR

"Constantly"....can't remember who sang it.
Diana by Paul Anka.

Cost:- 6/8d !
Heartbreak Hotel by Elvis.
Please Release me.--By Engelbert Humberdink.

Had to buy it for Mum really. We both couldnt stop humming it , haha
45" single was that dreadful panpipe affair 'Incantation - Cachapya'
33" album was 'OMD - Organisation'
I am as old as Daft Grandad (How are you DG x)

It probably was Joe Brown, "That's what love will do" Can't remember that far back (50 odd years ago!!!) Anyway, if no Joe Brown, it would have been Adam Faith, perhaps "Someone Else's Baby".
