i dont know the name of the song or band...roughly this was out in the early to mid 70`s...part of the lyrics are "I just cant believe the feeling when your gone, i just cant remember how to carry on'...any ideas?

I did a lyrics search and the best I could come up with is a track by Roger Hodgson called Puppet Dance.Here's a few of the lyrics...

I haven't a clue what year it was....so this may be a totally useless answer. I'm just bored,lol!
