If there's a cheese scone or some malt loaf you can count me in.

Even if there isn't I'll happily keep you company.
iced tea?
bit cold to sit out innit?

I'll grab the cakes and take them back indoors for you.
May I have that comfy chair in the corner, lovely to see you Lady-j, how are you?
Good afternoon and what sort of tea do you have today?
I've just stuffed some huge mejool dates with walnuts and covered them in chocolate. Shall I bring?
I've just come in after a long drive and have just scoffed 2 mini choc muffins and am now drinking my coffee. Its quite hot outside.
I have 2 lemon drizzle cakes in the oven, I'll bring them with me xx
It is a lovely day. I've been working in the garden all afternoon. I'd like to join you all. Will you be doing toasted teacakes?
Like summer here (North Herts) almost too hot , I have a few cold beers in the fridge shall I bring them?

we can sit in the conservatory or the adjoining living room. both big enough for lots of folks. not cold as sun is streaming through the windows.

indian, china and various fruit teas on offer.

please bring any cakes or buns you wish. they will be appreciated.

cheddar (mature and strong), feta, blue stilton and welsh goats cheese and plenty of crackers. stuffed dates sound delicious yes please bring.
Question Author
tilly sorry no tea cakes but have some crumpets.
Question Author
this is getting to be like a party. wonderful. not lonely now.

do you want music quietly in the background and if so what kind?
Question Author
eddie - you and your cold beers are very welcome but then you would have to stay as driving and our granite walls and narrow lanes are not a good combination.
Crumpets would be lovely. Could you just make sure that sibton doesn't have the comfy chair. She should be sitting on a three legged stool.
Tilly!! :-)
One must say, Lady J, your tea is wonderful, but we do have a problem with all these emmit ruffians zooming around our lanes. It frightens the llamas and the Cornish wurzel foxes.
so that's where the wurzel foxes are, none here any more
I would like to come as well. I live in the West Midlands though; is it far to yours?
Question Author
there are two comfy chairs. so you can have one each.

DT - i think the llamas at longdowns are quite used to have cars whizzing past them. the farm dogs will go mad but they will survive.
