Noel Edmonds
I don't think Terry Wogan did- Floral Dance was a number 2 I recall.
Suzi Quatro had a series on radio 2 once, if that counts
Jonathan King
I think Tony Blackburn released some singles
Did Noel Edmonds not sing with Kith Chegwen and John Craven - Brown Sauce, I think they were called.

They might have had a hit at some point?
*Keith*
mind you, again, I don't think his song, Everyone's Gone to the Moon, was a number one
Dave Lee Travis & Paul Burnett had that silly Convoy song
Yes, Brown Sauce had a minor hit- maybe just reached top 20
There was an urban myth that Keith Chegwin used to be in the group Kenny who had several top 5 hits in the 1970s
Looks like Brown Sauce only made number 15.

B00, J K, made records under different names as well, I think Johnny Reggae by the Piglets was one of his.
oh righty tony, i only remember that particular one.
Shag was another -Loop di Love
JK also did some under his own name- Una Paloma Blanca for example
1976, Dave Lee Travis & Paul Burnett, got to No.4 with 'Convoy GB' as Laurie Lingo and the Dipsticks
just seen you got there first Fraction, sorry I was one the 'phone as I was typing!
Timmy Mallett?
But you remembered the name of their 'act'. I remember seeing the two Dipsticks but who was Lorry/Laurie Lingo?
From Wiki -

"Mallett formed the band Bombalurina, along with female vocalists / dancers Dawn Andrews and Annie Dunkley, and released the single "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini". The song entered the UK charts at number 23, rose to 13 the next week, then to 3 and finally to number 1 on 19 August 1990, where it stayed for three weeks. More than 1,000,000 copies of the single were sold around the World and it topped the charts in over a dozen countries. Follow ups included "7 Little Girls Sitting in the Back Seat" "The Bump", as well as an album, Huggin' an' a Kissin."
Ed Stewart asked Lynsey de Paul to dance on "Won't Somebody Dance With Me?".
