As it happens, their names do appear in some of the writing credits. Not much, admittedly.
They've had some very good catchy hits - I still think Call The Shots is one of the classiest hits of recent years - but that's not solely down to the writers, musicians and producers; people might think "Oh, anyone could've sung those" but it wasn't anyone, it was that particular group, and that's what helps to make up that specific package. And it's worked pretty well so far.

Pop is disposable forthy for-the-moment entertainment, no-one is suggesting that it is down for the kong haul.
Any music has to be judged in context in order to make a valid judgement of its worth.
As a pop act, GA are pretty much the top of their game - their compositions, arrangements, and yes delivery, are all top notch, and to not like or enjoy it does not detract from the skill involved in delivering their highly successful music into a market that is arguably the most competative and over-subscribed there is.
Being angels in human form helps as well of course!!!!!!
