Does anyone know what the BBC-1 Christmas Ident "It's Showtime" background music is please? Maybe it has been specially composed, but it does sound like it's been taken from A Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers film.

There are a few on YouTube, so I'm not sure which one you mean. Is this it, malcy?

Hello Judge. Unfortunately I can't get that to play here.
But taking your advise and scouring around "You Tube" I have since found out that the piece they are using is Benny Goodman's "Sing, Sing, Sing" for the BBC-1 "It's Showtime" campaign.
In this "You Tube Video" The drum beat part from one minute, 28 seconds in and the main theme starts before this at 29-seconds in.
