Windows Media Player Query

I'm using Wndows 7..
When I click on the Play All tab, highlighted album tracks either don't play in the Album order or else only play once for that track & then stop.
If I've just ripped a CD & try to play all tracks in the order of the CD then my Laptop plays them in a different order.
Could anybody please help with a work-around this problem?

Have you enabled 'shuffle'? It's the two arrow thingies at the bottom, far left of the play icon.

For a start, I wouldn't recommend using Windows Media Player at all.
Use VLC instead.

You could have done this yourself Methyl...

Yes, it plays virtually all known media types by default, doesn't ask you to download codecs, doesn't 'take over' and has a straight forward console rather than the poncy ones WMP presents!
It's the one I use all the time and I have disabled WMP as the 'default player'.
