My daughter phoned tonight to say she has booked tickets for herself, my grandson and me to see The Lion King.
Just wondered if any of you have seen it and what you thought of it.

Yes, seen it and it is EXCELLENT. Look out for the elephant, it only comes on once and it's a sight to behold. We both laughed and cried at this show and had a truly wonderful time. You're in for a treat.

Ooh really looking forward to it now. I very rarely go to a theatre (except the hospital kind!) Last time was when said daughter took me to see a 70's disco extravaganza, think it might have been called What a Night but not sure.
It was ok but not quite my thing. I know my 6yr old grandson will enjoy it, he's really looking forward to it.
