Genesis at Knebworth was the first, back in the 70's. Funnily enough the last was the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, also at Knebworth last year.

Pink Floyd's The Wall at Wembley (or was it Olympia??) we're the best ever though.

I remember 3 singles from Pilot- Magic, January and Just a Smile. I was surprised when I played a snippet of Magic to a class of 12 year olds recently and they all started singing along. Apparently it's been used in quite a few films.
My first concert was Darts! I wasn't expecting to enjoy it but loved it. Next was Buzzcocks or Eddie & Hotrods. In the late 70s I saw a concert almost every week

went to pop proms at the albert hall in the early 60s saw all the top groups lulu and the lovers searcher freddie and the dreamers herman hermit and so on,my sister got a rose that manfred mann threw lol
