Is it just me or was Robbie Williams off his face at Live8 when he was being interviewed by Fern Cotton?

He seemed a bit high, but jet lag and excitement about performing can do that to you

I thought he was wasted and that it was a bit naughty that he seemed more intent on getting in Fearne's knickers than talking about Live8 but hey ho....

A colleague of mine was there on Sat so didn't see the interview and said that Robbie seemed out of his box on stage.

I didn't see the interview but I did think he looked well gone when he was performing!

He's always like that when he performs though.....

I think it might have been a mix of alcohol, flying and general nervousness

yeah he looked completely out of it.  Didn't find the comment he made about not having eaten for two years very funny either considering where he was and why he was there

I saw him at Knebworth and he didn't seem out of it then drwhofan.  Am suprised media haven't picked up on this actually.  It doesn't usually take a lot for them to tear someone else to peices!

I personnally thought he was off his crust on something, he didn't know what was going on and his eyes looked all funny too!

Looking at Robbie's crossed arms as he spoke to Fearn, I couldn't help noting that this defensive body language was a guard against her actually taking him up on the offer. AFAIC, he was merely going through the motions of saying "let's get it on" without having the slightest intention of doing so.

If Saturdays efforts were the best she could do, you'd need to be off your face to get through one of Fearne Cotton's interviews. The words, Inane and drivel, spring to mind when i think of the questions she was asking!!!
