Almost the end of Phase One of the SuperLeague Season 2013.

Some of the matches have been SO CLOSE ...

Northumbria 47 - 46 Loughborough

Thunder 54 - 55 Bath

Mavericks 48 - 48 Dragons

Jets 51 - 50 Storm

Thunder 45 - 46 Mavericks

Storm are currently top, ahead of Bath on goal difference. Mavericks are third, and they would have been level on points if they'd won that 48-48 game with Dragons.

So one more goal for Mav's in that game, and it would be a three way tie at the top.

And THAT is an exciting season.

Compared with, say, the football Prem, where I gather one team have just walked away with it.
