I heard it on 6 Music last night on the Craig Charles Soul& Funk programme and thought it was great. Is it Jazz? Electro swing? I've never been interested in Jazz but maybe I should listen to some more

Thanks Zacs. I listened to a couple of other tracks from Parav Stelar Trio yesterday and will now look up 'jazz swing' to see if I can find something similar.
I can imagine Pitbull making a great track based on this

You'd have enjoyed the programme, tony- there was a good selection including Jackie Wilson, The Impressions, this and Marvin Gaye's What's Goin' On (I'd forgotten how good that was)
Yeah, that's swing! very popular in the 30's and 40's, I love it. Here's another example From that era with Count Basie.
Yep, sounds like a good show ff. I do like to have a listen to 'Whats Going On' now and again myself, a great track and excellent lyrics.
Question Author
Thanks, vulcan- I'll have a listen. Much of the track on my link sounded as if it could have been made in the 30s or 40s but bits of the production make me think this may be a new recording
