I then saw them at various small venues, the last time I saw them was the two night stand at Earls Court in 1994 or 5 (I think) I had seen them 12 times by then. I remember thinking then, when they played Supersonic and it was really tame that they had peaked. I brought Standing on the shoulders of Giants and returned it as I thought it was rubbish. Sadly I think Oasis are treading a well worn path, they know what their fans like and they don't want to stray too far from that.
i dont think you lot know anything bout music, but in the 90's, Oasis pulled the music industry out of the gutter! they changed the way people spoke, dressed, walked, and acted thorughout the whole country! noel is the best songwriter since john Lennon (the legend) ! who matches oasis? U2 (who are s**t) that refuse glasto coz they cant edit the gig and dont like playin live on T.V coz they go backstage after every gig to study their performance, thats crap! thats not rock n roll at all! Oasis are above the rest! i seen them 12 times and they produced the best songs even when they didnt care! i was at Manchester and The band stopped playing halfway through Turn Up The Sun and guitarist Noel Gallagher announced to the crowd at the City of Manchester Stadium: Alright look Ive been told the barrier at the front has broken down so if everyone can just take one or two steps back well start playing again. Otherwise we cant go on with the show. If anybody does get injured though make sure they get a ******* t-shirt on the way out.Liam Gallagher, who was dressed in a red leather jacket and a white cricket hat, then joked: I bet you dont get this at Live 8, before the band were left standing on stage for the next 25 minutes while organisers fixed the problem.
During that time Noel kept the audience amused by telling jokes and by urging the fans to sing: Who the **** are Man Utd?
people dont understand the importance of Oasis and what they done for the music industry in Britain...... End of.
