Just wondering, should Aston Villa be relegated would england be the only country in europe that have former european champions (along with nottm forest) that have been relegated from their country's top flight (not counting Italian demotions)

Juventus and marseille are the only other european champions to be relegated but this was due to financial scandals.

In fact, seeing as Aston Villa have also been relegated in the recent past (descending as far as Division 3 in the 1970s) I think Liverpool are the only English winners who HAVEN'T been relegated in the recent past although it depends how far back you want to go.
Olympique de Marseille were also relegated from the top division in France due to financial irregularities, a couple of years after winning the European Cup
