Ideas For An 11 Year Old Girls Birthday Venue

Where would you take an 11 year old and two or three friends for a birthday treat. I would like to spend around £100 but no more.

The Zoo? Everyone loves the zoo, and there are usually some decent places to grab a bite, too.

I would also have suggested zoo or even somewhere that has a petting zoo.

When I was that age the friends came to my house for the party games in the garden (or front room if wet) and the birthday tea set out in the living room.

If one must go out there are cinemas, theatre, playing fields for games, McDonalds.

A theme park maybe if there is one nearish to you? There are always some good ticket offers on Ebay too so that can be done quite cheaply if it's planned ahead well.

Honestly -at 11 years old -the Zoo ? Take them for a mini 'makeover' - have their hair and nails done and go for a posh ice cream or take them to the 'in' cafe for a panini -I saw a group of girls on saturday who were enjoying this -they were having a whale of a time -had all had their hair put up and felt very grown up -

I quite like the animal idea. We have an animal park a few miles away .I will take a look on the internet for prices etc.

What about a make-over at a salon or spa?

Or a jewellery making workshop.

Shes quite a tomboy the idea of a mini makeover would horrify her i think.

thats what I thought Andrew -Zoo's are horrible places IMHO and 11 years old girls these days are a bit more sophisticated ;-)

It's a safari type park.

You drive through it. First off you come to camels and llamas (tame animals) then through some gates to lions and tigers...and usually have monkeys jumping all over your car. There's an indoor and outdoor play area with zip slides etc. They also have a small monkey enclosure where you enter and walk around with monkeys jumping all over the place. Then they have areas with penguins, spiders, snakes...

It's good fun.
