Hello! i am planning a trip to japan for 2 weeks in october. the problem is, i dont know anyone there so cant ask for advice upon cheap accomodation. I want to stay in a youth hostel or ryokan but they all look a bit dodgy on the net. Can anyone reccomend one or give me any advice? thankyou! :)

been to many cities in japan and know that things are not cheap but these 'capsules' they have may be o.k for a night or two if your stuck.don't know how many places have this type of accomodation though.tokyo certainly has.
