Was there a glamorous assistant on Sale Of The Century and Bullseye and if so who? And what were the other big TV game shows from the 70s and 80s besides Family Fortunes and The Golden Shot and Bullseye?

How about Blockbusters?
No glamorous assistant on Bullseye - just Bully!
Yutte Stensgaard, a Danish actress was on 'The Golden Shot', and appeared in a couple of Hammer horror films as a vampire, and in TV shows like Jason King.

Carol Dilworth was also a 'Golden Girl' - she married Chip Hawkes of The Tremolos, and is mother to one-hit-wonder Chesney Hawkes.

Name That Tune! And probably many others.

Andy, Chesney Hawkes wasn't a one-hit wonder :-) But music channels often mistakenly include him, and others, in "one-hit wonder" programmes.
Isla Fisher on Generation Game with Lary Grayson, if I remember rightly. "Oh what a gay day" to quote Larry, I loved him.
I like Chip Hawkes, went to see him in November last year but he was having chemo for cancer and couldn't perform - lovely guy.
The original Sale of the Century in this country was with Wilfred Pickles as the host. The most well known series was from Norwich which ran from for 13 years which also had 13 different hostesses. I can remember Linda Hooks , Snay Gupta and Caroline Dowdeswell.
I actually did a Sky show with Peter Marshall about 1990 with a hostess who was very well endowed but cannot remember her name. When I first walked into the studio there was a chap called Luke who seemed to know everyone. So he should as he had just won a car.
If you look on a lot of quizzes at the end it says questions set by Luke but I cannot remember his other name. So he did quite well for himself
Who is Isla Fisher? Isla St. Clair surely on Gen Game.
Lock Stock ...

It's a deal. It's a steal. It's the sale of the fu**ing century.
The only one that I remember from the Golden Shot is Anne Aston.............and Bernie the bolt
Was it 3-2-1 that had Dusty Bin?
Yes it was, Pixie
Mr and Mrs - remember watching it but that's all.
