If I Tidy My Bedroom, Will I Then Remain Single For A Very Long Time?

Genuine question this, working on the theory that if you go out with an umbrella it never rains.

Shall I tidy my room in the hope that if I do get a girl I can take her back to my room a we can watch tv and listen to music. Although I may never get a girl because of said room being tidy.

Or

Option 2 - I leave the room being messy, in the vain hope that if I get a girl I can always make up and excuse and go to hers.

I once spent a very happy afternoon (and evening) tidying my flat with a potential suitor.
The relationship didn't last long (measured it weeks) but, it was fun while it lasted.
