Cindy Incidentally seems to be the main contender
Stay with Me was perhaps the one most people, including me, first think of but it reached only number 6. Their highest chart position was with Cindy, Incidentally.

Thank you to both of you.
Do you mean Rod Stewart and the Faces ?.
You can make me dance sing or anything etc etc etc........ Is the lonest song title to ever be in the top 40!
I assumes Ninnynanny didn't mean the Small Faces, but if she did the answer would be All or Nothing which reached number one or Itchycoo Park which reached the top 10 twice
I remmeber that, mikkin- the title included something like ' ....do the ironing..."
I assume Ninnynanny didn't mean the Small Faces as well, ff.
And taking the dog for a walk Factor!
Mending fuses!!
Tony- I have a vague recollection that some Faces tracks were listed as Rod Stewart and the Faces but I can't remember any specific ones- can you? Maggie May was definitely just listed as Rod but I'm pretty sure The Faces were involved when he appeared on TOTP
The faces and John Peel factor!
Do you two live together, mikkin and the judderman!
"You Can Make Me Dance, Sing or Anything (Even Take the Dog for a Walk, Mend a Fuse, Fold Away the Ironing Board, or Any Other Domestic Shortcomings)"
I loved Pool Hall Richard.
I had You Can Make...on the fabulous Snakes and Ladders compilation album- I won it from Melody Maker or Record Mirror
That exactly it Factor!....... I mean the full title not me and mikkin59 co-habiting!!
