Does anyone know the title to the music used in films/TV progs/cartoons which ressembles someone typing quickly on a typewriter. The music is played by violins and includes a bell everynow and again to signify a 'carriage return'!.

it is called "The Typewriter" and was written by Leroy Anderson. He did lots of commercial light classical tunes - another that is played a lot is Syncopated Clock. You will find a CD of his work on the Mercury label played by the Boston Pops Orchestra, I think.
There's a song called "The Office" from the film Brazil which is a kind of samba with numerous typewriters tapping away along with an orchestra. It's used a lot in commercials and featured in the advertising for Being John Malkovich.
