Glen Campbell has dementia? I didn't know that tamaris, although he'll be getting on a bit now. I liked him singing Witchita Lineman.

Just googled him. He has Alzheimers and he's 77 years old. Loved him singing Galveston as well.

I've watched it tonight, the documentary before the concert, I always feel quite emotionally attached to him for some reason, only shuck his hand but he was so humble and charming, kept it together 'til Jimmy Webb told how a year or so ago he was with him and glen turned to Jimmy and said 'did you write Wichita lineman?' broke my heart that bit, so sad.

According to Wikipedia all his big hits were written by other people.

It says early on in his career he released some songs he wrote himself but none of them were hits

I was enthralled by his life story and I also watched him in concert afterwards. He had such charisma, and was an accomplished guitar player. A quiet gentle man , I remember him while I was growing up, but did not know any thing much about him. I wish him all the best.
