Yes, I know a lot of people don't like it and would stick pins in their eyes or pull their teeth with pliers. Each to their own. You can start a Why I don't watch Strictly thread, if you like.
For those of us who do enjoy it, any early bets as to the winner? I thought the first two episodes were fab - compare to the early series and you'll see far advanced the celebs are.
Patrick was fantastic but I was very surprised at Abby's waltz. I must admit I wasn't expecting much but she was a delight.
I am still laughing at Dave. My word, he's not at all self conscious and is certainly enthusiastic.
My vote for first out is Tony. No dancing skill, no charisma, no entertainment value. I'm sure you're a great chap, Tony, but you are a square in a golf hole.
I agree with you about Dave. Although the waltz with Abby was lovely it seemed quite cold to me. I miss the spice that Nancy Del'Olleo added but maybe Vanessa will fill in that hole.
All in all I thought they were all good and if not good, very brave.
I don't watch as a rule, but was at my in-laws for tea on Saturday, so viewed that episode.
The interesting premise is that someone who is good at one thing - presenting, modelling, cooking, whatever, will be good at dancing, and the novelty is that some are, and some are not.
I thought Abbey Clancy was beautifully gracerful, Rachel Riley was very cute, and Fiona Fulerton remains my 'older woman fantasy'.
Couldn't tune in every week - but it passed a little time.
I would love Brendan and Sophie to win. I've always loved Brendan. I don't really mind that Natalie has some dancing experience, I still like her and love watching her.
