As I've posted before Trish and I met Joan in a bar near Notre Dame, Paris back in the 70's and had the pleasure of being part of select audience of around 50 at what turned into a private concert.

It was totally unexpected and and marvelous night gness. It was just after we'd started getting a bit serious and went for a long weekend to see what developed. After an evening boat trip and a visit to the Cathedral at night we wandered down a back street, found a little bar and the first person I saw when we entered was Joan.I finally plucked up the courage to introduce myself and tell her how much we enjoyed her music and we spent about 10 minutes talking until the bar owner asked Joan if she'd do a couple of songs and that was the start of a truly magical evening.
