Hans Zimmer

My absolute favourite movie composer is Hans Zimmer. However . I read that a lot of his soundtracks are written by a team. Is this true - who contributes what? Fr'instance who was responsible for the recurring "theme" in The Rock?

. The Rock is credited as "Music composed and produced by Nick Glennie-Smith, Hans Zimmer and Harry Grigson-Williams" with additional music by Don Harper and Steven Stern, and the orchestrations by another 5 people.

So - yes, seems Hans is a team player.

But his music is still amazing - with or without a team.  My favourites include Pirates, and Gladiator.
