Ok, need to get a new phone, sim only.

Definitely dont want an iPhone, has some issues that means its no good to me.

Heres what I need it to do, quick and reponsive internet access , my HTC Desire HD is a dinosaur in that respect.

must be able to take a mem card of min 8GB upwards

needs a decent camera, looks like 8MP is the starting point these days

not too fussed about 4G as coverage is still garbage and data still way too expensive

deffo not interested in playing games on it

might watch occasional video

anybody got any recomendations from personal use ?

Look at the Nexus 5, no expandable storage but it does have 32GB internal.
My wife loves hers.

I'm still using my old Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone - it's briliant. I am thinking of an upgrade, so am waiting on the S5 coming out sometime in the next few months apparently, and may switch to that. Samsung phones are tops!
