It was Al Bowly Jack, though I'm not old enough to remember the days of the big bands my Dad was a great of this music, so I grew up with this music as well as the music that was around when I was young. My daughter also loves the music that her grandad loved

Wow! - didn't expect such a response - thanks all.
Am OK but had to have a skin cancer removed from my scalp - on Christmas Eve of all days.
Recovering well - nice to have a young District Nurse call each morning.

love the big bands, i was just watching some youtube clip on Buddy Ebsen,
who apart from playing Jed Clampett in Beverley Hillbillies, was one of the best dancers, fantastic swing footage of him and his sister.
Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller my favourite, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington
so many, great songs, great singers like Sinatra
