Just had a call from 02070604306,
who has called about 4 times daily for a week or so, and not been answered 'cause I googled it when it first appeared as a missed call last week sometime.
Today I answered it, a heavily Indian accented woman said she was from EE and wanted to talk to me about my Orange account,
My response was " Why when I put your number into Google does it tell me you are acting as an unauthorised agent for EE?"
She didn't stay on the line long enough to tell me.

Its because of calls such as this that I leave my phone off the hook, until after 21:00 hours. If I replace the receiver during that day or evening, some scammer or other calls within 15 mins. Complete pain in the ar*e !

Chelle the first two of the 'who called me' type sites I visitedoth had it down as unofficial, I'll have another look later.

Keep a ref's whistle by the phone. When one such call comes in, give a good hard blow. Failing that, ask them to hold a minute then put the phone by the radio and turn up loud.

This is why we sign up to the Call prevention registry - we get very few unsolicited calls now.

I got so fed up the other day, when I answered my phone for about the fifth time that morning to some idiot, who told me that they had been informed that i was struggling with debts and they would like to help,
I was rather rude,
I told them that either their information was a load of bull or they were liars, and told them, not very politely, to leave me alone.
I had a call back from a 'supervisor' , who told me that they had removed me from their lists due to my abuse, and would never call me again.
Fingers crossed........but I don't really believe it.
