2 Answers
We have just had a little power cut.I now dont get any sound e.g 'Welcome To AOL' etc.
We have been trying to listen to music and watch a DVD - nothing.
Now I know there is a little icon for volume on bottom R hand side for volume and I have checked there is no tick in the mute box.I have also checked it is not on mute for music. The speaker is OK..What next please. Thanks

(Different every time it seems). If it happens on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday then my speaker lead gets put in the wrong socket. Any other day and the modem lead gets unplugged from the socket on the wall. I am using Windows XP and have read the XP for Dummies books but this doesn't seem to be a topic that is covered at that level.
