Most reviews agree that this is the best album since the first, and the live shows prove a new energy within the band. Oasis have found out that hard way that making a red-hot debut album always gives you something to live up to, and you skate a fine line between giving people what they like, without being accused of re-treading the same old grooves. Liam has had some compositional inout into this album, to the chagrin of Noel's publishers, it appears to confict with an agreement with them about his percentage of songs on each album, but that's not your problem. If you can't borrow a copy, why not wait a few weeks until your local library have a copy in, and borrow that? Personally, I'd take the plunge and buy it - that's part of the thrill of following an artist, you may not like everything they do, but it's art, no-one said it will be perfect every time.
Oasis, are still absolute quality, been a fan of them before they were signed having seen them play in Bradford.
