Saturday. Heavy rain during the night with some celestial pyrotechnics. ΅ none of the usual suspects were out and about. foxy was in and did a disappearing act with his supper in about 5 seconds flat and was gone. I don't know what time tiggy appeared but his supper was gone this morning. Not even much of a dawn chorus this morning. Some cloud lurking about looking for some mischief to get up to. I think I'll be taking my wet weather gear with my for the charter today, at least there is a lunch our of it. :o}
I'll be seeing my friends from Oxford who come over to do the weekend in the Heritage Centre. Tomorrow I'll go down to join them for the day. He's the one that does Father Christmas on percy.
My mate who is crewing the charter with me will be picking me up at 9.30, so I will have to do my running around and shoplifting before then. He lives at the bottom of the hill, so no point in taking two cars.
Have a happy day everyone.

Well boys and girls, I did it. I did my 13 miles last night. It started at midnight. The first 8 miles were ok but the heavens opened for the last 5 and it was hellish. Ah well it's done now. No blisters but I ache EVERYWHERE!!! I've just had a long hot shower and put all my wringing wet clothes in the washing machine, I could've taken part iin the Miss Wet T shirt contest for auld wifies .
If anyone would like to donate money in my name please do. PLEASE do. It's the Martlets Hospice unit 5 sussex house business park , old shoreham road , hove bn3 7dx. My entrant number was 0067. To everyone who has already donated, a very big thank you. Every single penny will be well spent.

That's good. :o} This place was built about 15 years ago, on the footprint of prefabs built just after the was to house ex-service men and women. They are now reserved for the elderly and/or disabled. I qualify on both grounds. :o[
It's a nice two bed bungalow at the top of the hill. Nice clean air! Wonderful.

That's good Lina. :o} Any plans for the weekend?
jan you'd be very welcome. It a gentle 10k stroll around part of Minchinhampton Common, it takes in some spectacular views as it is high up. There is a bar and barbie for everyone when they get back to the hospice. It is a lovely event. Last year we had 350 people and 60 dogs all being sponsored. :o}
