Hopefully still with Jack Dee. The BBC have been receiving some complaints
(well, 4 since 2013) about the Samantha jokes being demeaning to wimin apparently. Here is one...see what you think ::

"Samantha has to nip out now to spend time with her new gentleman friend. They are going on a driving tour of Wales. She says he's looking forward to showing her Cardiff and Cardigan Bay, before going on to Bangor in the back of his van "

or

"Samantha has to nip out now with her new gentleman friend. Apparently they've been working on the restoration of an old chest of drawers. Samantha is in charge of polishing, while he scrapes the varnish, and wax off next to her"

Now, what on earth could be wrong with those ?

That's not demeaning. Girls tell jokes about men too.
I read this morning that this was a bit of of old story that was sorted out ages ago but can't find the article at this moment. Still...

Samantha is a qualified croupier and often works at an exclusive Soho club where gamblers pay top money to pay roulette all day and poker all night.

Samantha is off on a dinner date with a gentleman friend from Moscow who's brought over a variety of caviares and an array of vodka-based aperitifs. She says he's going to offer her delicious food in his hotel room and then liquor out on the balcony.
LOL.....
No mention of Sven, then?
Samantha is now dating an Italian ice cream magnate, she like nothing better than licking the nuts off a Neopolitan :-)
bibble........LOL

Guy walks into a bar where two fat women are sitting on a bar stool and he thinks he recognises their Scottish accents.

"Are you two birds from Scotland?" he asks.

"Wales is the curt reply"

Sorry he replied "Are you two whales from Scotland?"

LOL......LOL

That joke is sooooooooooo old!!
ummm...so am i ...as you fail to repeatedly remind AB.
I love ISIHAC, and especially the Samantha bits, which Humph used to do so well, with his deadpan 'I don't get it, I just read it out ... delivery.

I remember one convoluted story about her buying a beehive with thirty-eight bees ... you can guess the rest!
I am thinking of building a glider.........
Are we allowed to discuss Lionel Blair playing Charades, Wondering if he can pull off 'Three men in a boat'!!!! snigger snigger x
Four hundred series and still no closer to discovering the rules of Mornington Crescent.
I hadn't heard sqad's joke. Made me laugh :-)

in answer to your OP, mikey- not demeaning in the slightest. We aren't that pathetic.
I just read Sqad's joke as well, really funny. Now have to find a dry top to put on as Prosecco shot all down the one I had on before I read the joke:-))

I remember a quiet recent Samantha joke about her going somewhere but she visited her local Butchers first. The punch line was that she was glad that she had some of the Butchers tongue inside her !

A youtube clip :::

lol your right mikey you haven't
Did none of you ever listen to the Janet and John stories on the Terry Wogan show on radio two? There are books as well, sold in Aid of Children in Need.

I used to listen to it in the car and I laughed so much I nearly ran off the road.
