Love it Stephen - most impressed!
My sister and I had a song read out on Children's Favourites or whatever it was, in about 1960, by Uncle Mac. He said "And now one of the nicest cards I have ever had to read ..." and read out our message. Can't remember the song, but my mum banged on about for weeks to anyone who would listen, making me quote UM and his intro - aaaaarggghhh!
I'd love to send a request in to Steve Wright, but rather than saying 'Loving the show ..." as everyone who gets read out seems to do, can I say
"Steve, I loathe your patronising lily-livered ***-licking interviews, the way you let that dreadful Sally Traffic (grow up!!!) woman pad her part and pretend she is all sexy, and the fact that you talk over the outro of EVERY SINGLE RECORD YOU EVER PLAY, you gross overweight smarmy past-your-sell-by-date buffoon. I LOATHE your show and I'm only listening until you read this out, and then I will tear the *** off my radio and stamp on it!
What do you think - any chance?
