Why would I want to STOP drinking? Who needs a pill? Just don't drink. Easier said than done I know for many people. I always wonder about side effects of these so called wonder drugs
janbee, I hardly think the drug could be worse than drowning your liver in alcohol.
It always makes me laugh when people go on about the dangers of drugs and cigarettes and think nothing of drinking a bottle of wine every night.
I like a drink every night so Iv started drinking 2% larger ice cold. Its still a drink but less long term health damage. One way maybe?
This is classified info diesel but I know you won't tell anyone else. The only way to stop drinking -wait for it -is to stop buying it. Amazing! it works every time!

Are you talking about this pill?
I read about it this morning and think it is a waste of money. I know the intention is to stop people wanting more than one drink, but they are talking about people who drink the equivalent of half a bottle of wine per night. That is only one and a half glasses of a decent sized glass. If you can stop after that, you don't need the pill, you are ok IMHO.
I don't think there are any side effects - it's nothing like Antabuse which makes you violently ill if you drink and is only used in the most severe cases of alcoholism.
The plant extract Kudzu is meant to help with mild alcohol cravings. You can buy it from Amazon, but you need a bit of willpower as well.
it stops the pleasure from booze. Antabuse is another medication that makes the drinker vomit any alcohol.
