Changes To Lotto
9 Answers
Prior to the changes to the National Lottery, around this time last year, i took part in an on line survey. I have just taken part in another in which i was asked to react to a scenario whereby the number of balls was increased to 55 and some of the prizes altered, (I did not make a note of the figures quoted) with a possible £1m raffle win and a free entry to the next draw for matching one number and the bonus ball. I fear that these 'hypothetical' changes may become a reality and the chances of winning the big prizes will lessen. And if that happens i can see lots more abandoning the ship.

If they do introduce the 55 numbers, i will cease playing - and just do my best NEVER to look at the results of the draws as my numbers are not random. At present, i do my hotpicks on line with Betfred (and won £386 last night with 6, 19 & 24) but no doubt they would have to alter their prices accordingly and i would have to reassess whether or not i find the new odds acceptable.
