Title Of An Old Song Wanted

Here`s one for the seniors out there. I remember when I was a child, hearing a song with one of the lyric lines - "A bell rings, miracles happen". It would be from around the 1940`s, possibly early 50`s. Not sure if it was sung by male or female, but if male, would probably be someone like Bing Crosby, or similar ilk.
