Another modern day tale of ridiculousness - in America the airlines allow people to take "emotional support animals" on flights so this woman takes a pig with her, not a tiny one but a big critter as you can see from the photo in that article. It then poo'd in the aisle and she was asked to get off.

Christ, I hope they don`t start allowing that over here. I did see a little dashund on a lead heading towards the departure gate at Heathrow and I wondered how the guy got away with it as it clearly wasn`t an assistance animal.

Visually impaired people have always taken dogs onto aircraft (although it `s rare) so now people are saying that they need a dog with them for psychological reasons and are 'swinging the lead' a bit. I can imagine the racket that the pig made - that must have been so funny (until it started crapping in the aisle)
