Another modern day tale of ridiculousness - in America the airlines allow people to take "emotional support animals" on flights so this woman takes a pig with her, not a tiny one but a big critter as you can see from the photo in that article. It then poo'd in the aisle and she was asked to get off.
For a lot of women I'd guess that their emotional support pig would be their husband.
Christ, I hope they don`t start allowing that over here. I did see a little dashund on a lead heading towards the departure gate at Heathrow and I wondered how the guy got away with it as it clearly wasn`t an assistance animal.

Visually impaired people have always taken dogs onto aircraft (although it `s rare) so now people are saying that they need a dog with them for psychological reasons and are 'swinging the lead' a bit. I can imagine the racket that the pig made - that must have been so funny (until it started crapping in the aisle)
Not sure where this woman was going to keep the flipping pig. It looks a bit big to sit on someones lap and there certainly isn't room for feet in Economy...or your knees comes to that.
Very strange story....another one of those "only in America" moments I suppose.
