Insurance And Neighbourhood Watch
The Neighbourhood Watch schemes say that 'You may get a reduction of your premiums if your home is in an active Neighbourhood Watch area'.
Even GoCompare say that about 30% of 318 insurers they canvassed do offer a specific reduction for being in a NhW area.
How can I find out which ones they are, without asking for 318 separate quotes?

I feel I should at least have an answer for those members (or even potential ones) who want something specific, like the names of a few companies that include NhW areas as something beneficial to belong to.
TWR, relations can be something else, can't they?

Yes I understand that SirOracle, which is why I wanted several insurers' names. I would never press them to ask, just have a few names to enable them to choose for themselves should they query the statement in the NhW introductions.
The one my own policy is with at the moment does not give any specific guarantees, but agrees with me in as much, and I quote, "However, our underwriters and pricing team calculate premiums based on numerous risk factors. The safety of the area will be included implicitly, so within a Neighbourhood Watch vicinity, the premium is statistically more likely to be lower than those without a Neighbourhood Watch scheme".
All a bit fuzzy really. Luckily our own area is pretty crime free.

Personally I never use comparison sites and wouldn't ever effect insurance through them. But this may be suitable for your purposes.
