Definitely HOBBIT, because 'talking' can sound like 'Tolkien'.
Has to be 'Hobbit'[. 'Talking' homophone 'Tolkein'. Bit baffled by 'little known', but if you say 'little, known literary figure' it makes sense.

I agree it's Hobbit but in what garbled accent is 'Talking' a homophone of 'Tolkein'?
