Many thanks for your reply.By way of a background.I played trombone until recently.At the age of 85 I felt I needed to play an instrument that did'nt need blowing and,since I was familiar with both treble and bass clefs I thought a piano would fit the bill
I am finding playing both together very difficult and thought if got very simple tunes I might progress.

Yes, I think Jackdaw has the right idea. There are a lot of great tutorials online. It's a steep learning curve, but they do help you to get started until you have an idea of the type of music you'd like to play.

There are sites from which you can download piano notation. Usually around £2-3 a copy. In the meantime, think of a tune, Google it with Google Images, and there's usually a page of that music displayed.
