Heard a song on the episode called The Lost Child in series 5 of Inspector George Gently and I can't trace it anywhere. It starts 'The leaves are falling and summer's gone.She's walking slowly it won't be long.' Sung by a female singer. Anyone recognise it or was it just written for the show?

The answer given there says that the song may have been changed when the show was aired in the USA (we have no Greyhound Buses really).

I didn't realise that the US versions will be broadcast in the UK on digital channels such as Netflix and PBS. I bet that explains it.
