Sore Big Toe Help Needed Please
5 Answers
Can someone help me please with my sore left big toe. There is a sharp pain in it which feels like an electric shock or maybe a needle down the front of the toe and ending at the nail. It is about an inch long (the pained bit) but is not there all the time, it seems to be triggered when the toe is moved.
It is getting to be more than annoying - pain has lasted a month or so thus far.
Anybody inspire me as to what is causing the pain and if it is in a nerve or blood vessel or whatever else there is in my toe.

I might have to go and see the doctor. It isn't at all debilitating but added to all the other aches and pains that getting old (I am over 50) bring and being far too fat and unfit it is a pain that I could do without. He sent me a letter asking me to make an appointment to see him - but it said that it was 'non urgent' which (to me) means sometime this year.
I might steal some of young Frankie's Prednisolone - just collected from the Vet.
