Frankie The Ornothologist

As an animal lover I should feel ashamed of myself but..... if that bleeding bird perched just outside my skylight doesn't shut up soon I may release the hounds. Or, to be more exact, Frankie the Tom Cat who has been staring at it for ages.
The bird sounds like a demented yappy Yorkshire Terrier. Frankie could take on one of them too.

I have tinnitus so it isn't always easy to focus on the bird noise. One of the birds sounds like a Baboon.
When Frankie was younger he used to get driven demented by the birds - the noises and them sitting on the skylight windows taunting him. His sister has shown no interest in such things at all.
It is probably a Gull or a Blackbird/Crow.

Frankie and Princess Merlin are indoor cats. They were feral born and a lady took them in. I rehomed them at 18 months old due to an asthma problem. She failed to mention that Frankie was asthmatic and not her son as I had been led to assume.
Cats seem to have no understanding of size. I get badgered and bullied into doing things that they want done. Convincing Frankie to take his daily Prednisolone is a nightmare. Merlin threw a strop when she was last at the vet. She looked like some sort of demented wild animal (which she was) and the vet was pretty shaken by it.
I love both of them but Frankie is a mummy’s boy.

I will have a listed on one of the bird sites later. Maybe I should ask my resident bird expert :-)
