60´s Rock Group..

Looking for the name of a 60´s mellow rock group who had one hit in maybe mid to late 67 - 69. The front singer was stunningly beautiful, had a hippy style/ dress, probably californian.. I know it I just have to be reminded

Sorry but no ... its a female front singer with a typical 4-5 man band American / Californian not pop but more in the rock genre all lot less known than the Walker bros or Middle of the road...

No its not Grace Slick she was brunette ...but very near that period... Cant remember the lyrics She would dress in your typical hippy costume with a jewel in her forehead probably from San fransisco They had one hit that Im aware of..
