I've just watched the first episode of this, about the Bloomsbury set, and found it intriguing, wasn't sure how I'd feel about it.
How awful to be a woman in those times and be so repressed. No wonder they found the Bloomsbury set so enlightening, must have been like a breath of fresh air, I'd have enjoyed being part of it myself. These days it seems quite tame...

At least they can have a gay old time these days without fear of being thrown in prison, thankfully.
I'm not sure I'd be delighted to find my husband and my sister having an affair. So much for the talk of personal loyalty.
Bunch of over-indulged wasters. Get a proper job you long haired layabouts and stop whingeing. And all of you what's had Carrington, yous got clap.

Oh I do beg your pardons. I came over all Salford.
It is intriguing because one never sees anybody else other than the the 'clique'. I got fed up and found it dull. For a greater degree of political enlightenment for women check out the activities of the author of 'The Railway Children' ie Edith Nesbit. Wow was she a trail blazer. Helped found the Labour Party too. Info on her site and wikipedia.
