Smallville season finale which aired on E4?

ok ok as u can prob guess from my name i love smallville! well if u cant! I LOVE SMALLVILLE! and when i heard E4 were re running season 4 i was like YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any way i had watched EVERY episode at 2pm-3pm the 6pm-7pm every day! and i know they cut out scenes buttttttttttt, when it is a whole story line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in the last episode, it should show martha and jonathon being held hostage by Jason! Jason has a gun and wants to find clark! then when the metor shower hits, it shows the house being hit! this was one of the cliffhangers which they left out?????? WHY?????????

It's probably because E4, like most channels, schedule programmes at the most inappropriate times when kiddies might be watching, so anything remotely 'adult' that might involve sex/violence/drugs/guns etc will be cut...  Of course these same channels just don't realise that these programmes aren't made for kids ... spoils it for everybody, but they don't care as long as they get the advertising revenue!

Best to get the DVDs if you can...
